All about the music

Daniel grew up in the woods outside Dubuque, with only two siblings, coyotes, and a piano to keep him company. But siblings fight and coyotes are aggressive, so he mostly stuck with the piano.

Later came violin, singing, guitar, bass, drums, and a couple months with a mandolin that he quickly gave up on. We can all agree that six instruments is enough.

Experience

Daniel has played in many different rock and country bands, doing lead vocals, guitar, piano, and bass. The most recently being Brushfire Bandits and Back Booth Alley. He uses his versatility to stay as active as possible in the music scene. He has played wedding ceremonies, receptions, private parties, corporate events, parks, bars, clubs, casinos, and even the annual Weiner Festival in Balltown (it’s not what you think).

When he isn’t rocking, Daniel works in education as a School Improvement Facilitator and is a licensed School Psychologist. He also has a passion for data visualization and designs spreadsheets to automate the busy-work that too many people are usually stuck with.
